Apple will open access to its own AI models for developers.

Apple is preparing for a revolution with artificial intelligence
Apple plans to implement a new strategy that will allow developers to access its own artificial intelligence models. A special developer kit and frameworks will be available at the annual WWDC conference on June 9.
Apple is working on creating smaller artificial intelligence models that can be used directly on devices. Developers will gain access to such capabilities thanks to the implementation of Apple Intelligence technologies.
This is part of a broader strategy for Apple to become a leader in the field of generative artificial intelligence. Last year, the company launched the Apple Intelligence platform, but its initial features did not gain widespread usage.
Among other expected innovations from Apple are an AI battery management mode and an updated version of the Health app with a wellness coach. The company hopes for success similar to that of the App Store, which gave a boost to external developers and brought financial benefits.
At the same Time, Apple acknowledges issues with current AI solutions, such as errors in AI-generated news headlines and the functionality of the emoji creation tool. The conference will also announce updated operating systems for iPhone, iPad, and Mac as part of the Solarium project.
The strategy carried out by Apple makes them a participant in the world of artificial intelligence, the development of which can provide developers with new opportunities for creating AI. At the same time, acknowledged issues with previous solutions show that the company continues to seek ways to improve its technologies.
