Ukraine has already issued more than 26 thousand referrals for temporarily unemployed and displaced persons who are helping to rebuild the country after the war.
In the last 2 months, 230 million UAH have been spent on salary payments.
The 'Recovery Army' program is successful: 30% of participants received offers for permanent employment.
This confirms that the program not only provides temporary employment but also creates opportunities for legal work for those who have lost their jobs.
Socially useful work is being carried out in 19 regions of Ukraine.
Top-3 active regions:
1. Kharkiv region - 36 thousand referrals;2. Donetsk region - 28 thousand referrals;3. Kyiv region - 27 thousand referrals.
These regions show the highest activity and interest in recovery.
The most common areas of work:
- Providing assistance to affected citizens and displaced persons, helping people with limited mobility;
- Packaging and delivering humanitarian aid;
- Providing social services to affected citizens and displaced persons;
- Auxiliary work for the Armed Forces;
- Clearing debris, restoring houses, clearing roads and tracks;
- Setting up checkpoints and fortifications;
- Constructing structures and strengthening dams.
The service offers an opportunity to join the work for those who are registered. The salary is up to 1.5 minimum wages, which amounts to 12 thousand UAH for a full month of work.
