Ukrainian supermarkets updated their fish prices, reports the Minfin portal. These changes are particularly important during the strict fast when many people want to continue consuming fish for various reasons, such as medical indications or the need for proper nutrition.
Carp
- Live carp: the average price is 150.10 UAH/kg, which is 3.5% lower than in February (155.48 UAH/kg).
- Gutted carp: the average price is 195.30 UAH/kg, which is 1.9% less than in February (199.05 UAH/kg).
- The most affordable offer from Auchan: live carp for 139.00 UAH/kg, gutted for 169.00 UAH/kg.
Herring
- Lightly salted herring: the average price is 192.00 UAH/kg, which is 2% lower than in February (196.04 UAH/kg).
- The lowest price at Novus - 169.00 UAH/kg, while prices at Megamarket are significantly higher - 228.00 UAH/kg.
Mackerel
- Fresh-frozen mackerel: the average price is 195.30 UAH/kg, a decrease of 1.5% compared to February (198.27 UAH/kg).
- The price range between retail chains is significant: from 169.00 UAH/kg at Novus to 221.60 UAH/kg at Megamarket.
In addition, prices for buckwheat, oil, and eggs have also risen in Ukraine.
