Budanov assessed the state of Putin's army and his plans.

Kyrylo Budanov, head of Ukrainian intelligence, shared his thoughts on the current state of the Russian army and its capabilities. In an interview with 'Ukrinform', he noted that Russia's professional army had been completely destroyed by 2023, and now the aggressor country is waging war with conscripted soldiers, who were trained for combat for 'no more than two weeks'. According to Budanov, Ukraine transformed into the third anniversary of the full-scale invasion in three days.
The head of intelligence also noted that the occupiers are advancing, but not as quickly as expected. They successfully repel many attacks but achieve local successes in certain directions. At the same Time, Budanov pointed out that this war is causing damage to both Russia and Ukraine. However, Russia has the potential to continue military actions.
According to Budanov, Russia's mobilization resources allow them to advance further, but they take into account the pace and the number of losses. He also questions whether this war can be called the third world war or a precursor to such a war, calling it a philosophical question. However, in his opinion, given the involvement of the strongest and most developed countries in the world, it can be considered a fact.
Earlier, Budanov exposed Putin's plans for imperial expansion.
