Chasiv Yar transforms into a graveyard for occupiers - general's assessment.

The city of Chasiv Yar in the Donetsk region has become a center for the destruction of Russian occupiers, reported General Mykola Malomuzh, former head of the Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine. He noted that he communicates with the leaders of the 24th Separate Mechanized Brigade named after King Danylo, which has strong training and reinforced capabilities. The brigade was relocated from New York, where it held the defense, preventing the enemy from advancing. Currently, Russian troops are trying to bypass Chasiv Yar from the flanks as they cannot take the city by direct assault. However, Ukrainian military are defending well and neutralizing enemy offensive operations.
There are fortifications in the city that allow for defense and counterattacks. Malomuzh believes that Chasiv Yar is one of the centers for destroying a large number of enemy servicemen and equipment.
