Fish Prices in Ukraine
According to the Minfin portal, as of February 19, we can see the price of fish in supermarkets for Ukrainians.
Fish is an important source of protein, omega-3 fatty acids, and trace elements. In particular, Ukrainians consume fresh or frozen fish, paying special attention to river and sea species.
These products are not only tasty but also beneficial for heart health, brain development, and strengthening immunity.
In February 2025, prices for some types of fish increased compared to January. For example, the price of lightly salted herring has increased on average by 3.56 UAH per kg.
Fresh-frozen mackerel has also risen by 5 UAH per kg and now costs 199 UAH.
Live carp continues to fetch 160.50 UAH per kg, while dressed carp is offered at an average price of 204 UAH per kg.
