The state completely failed the 'green' auctions in 2024 - MP.

Oleksiy Honcharenko stated that the Ukrainian government is not making sufficient efforts to attract international investors to build new power plants. He believes that the state is formally and disinterestedly searching for investors in green energy. Honcharenko claims that no one wants to build new power plants in Ukraine due to the accumulation of multi-billion debts in this business, and the government is not responding to this problem. He also points out the price restrictions on the electricity market that prevent the import of electricity. Consecutive attempts to impose new debts on Ukrenergo only worsen the situation. The western MP believes that the state policy for restoring energy is stuck in place and will not change unless decisive measures are taken.
Ukrenergo's debt reached 30 billion hryvnias
The debt of NERC Ukrenergo to the state enterprise Guaranteed Buyer for the compensation of electricity production from renewable sources exceeds 30 billion hryvnias. Experts and investors urge the government to stop the growth of Ukrenergo's debts for services to increase electricity production from alternative sources.
