'Can't trust': EU leaders commented on the outcome of Trump's negotiations with Putin.

Leaders of the European Union expressed their comments on the results of the negotiations between US President Donald Trump and Russia's Vladimir Putin. According to a report in FREEДOM.
The armed forces of Russia carried out an attack on Ukraine using ballistic missiles, guided missile systems, and strike drones. Among the targets were energy infrastructure facilities in Ukraine. The US and Russian presidents discussed the possibility of halting attacks on energy facilities. Ukraine is ready to support such a proposal and reserves the right to take appropriate actions in the event of Russia violating the agreements.
The Chancellor of Germany welcomed the cessation of Russian attacks on Ukraine's energy infrastructure and called it the first step toward peace. However, the US proposed a complete ceasefire to Russia, but Putin rejected this initiative, presenting additional conditions.
The German Minister of Defense stated that Russia's demands for the cessation of military and intelligence support for Ukraine are unacceptable. The head of European diplomacy emphasized that Russia is unwilling to make any concessions and that its statements about a ceasefire cannot be trusted.
European countries are concerned that Russia may use the ceasefire period to reposition troops. In this regard, the UK and the European Union are negotiating to accelerate arms supplies to Ukraine. A representative of the European Commission stated the need to achieve a just peace and continue supporting Ukraine.
The US assured the European Union that they would involve it in the peaceful settlement in Ukraine and that the priority is to end hostilities and discuss security measures.
