Yermak assessed the current relations between Ukraine and the USA.

The head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Andriy Yermak, stated that the relations between Kyiv and Washington have strengthened following last month's meeting in the Oval Office. He also noted that two rounds of ceasefire negotiations that took place in Saudi Arabia demonstrated Ukraine's readiness to cooperate with U.S. President Donald Trump to end the war with Russia.
Ahead of the meeting with Trump on February 28, President Zelensky faced tension when he was accused of disrespect. However, after a phone conversation between Trump and Zelensky on March 19, Kyiv launched a campaign to restore relations.
So far, it is unknown what the outcomes of the negotiations will be and whether Trump's approach to relations with Moscow will change.
In Saudi Arabia, the U.S. agreed with Ukraine and Russia to cease attacks over the Black Sea and energy facilities. According to Yermak, Russia is playing games, while the Americans are striving for peace.
