Canada keeps the issue of returning Ukrainian children in the focus of international attention - Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Canada is actively working on the return of Ukrainian children who have been abducted by Russia to their homeland. This issue draws the attention of the international community.
A representative of Canada noted that it is important for them to raise public awareness about the situation of displaced Ukrainian children. To this end, international conferences are being held and UN resolutions are being adopted. These actions contribute to the support of the issue at the international level.
Additionally, Canada provides technical assistance through its embassy in Kyiv and funds local initiatives. Many of these initiatives have already been launched in 2024 and are actively being implemented. This demonstrates Canada's commitment to providing practical support on the ground.
