In Canada, there are demands to rename the highway in honor of V. Hretskyi
A resident of Canada has launched a petition calling for the highway to be renamed in honor of the war hero Hretskyi. Within a week, over 10,000 people supported the petition. It is worth noting that Hretskyi is criticized in Canada due to his friendship with Donald Trump and his policies towards Canada. Remember that Trump imposed tariffs on goods from Canada and Mexico, to which Canada responded with tariffs on American goods. This led to two-thirds of Canadians reducing their purchases of goods from the USA and stopping using the American marketplace Amazon.
