Congress will work with Trump's team on extending assistance to Kyiv - co-chair of the Ukrainian caucus.

American lawmakers have stated that they are working with the US administration to extend assistance to Ukraine and are counting on the support of the new government in their decisions regarding freedom and democracy. This was stated by the co-chair of the Ukrainian caucus in the US Congress - Joe Wilson, during the Ukrainian week taking place in Washington.
He emphasized that 'absolutely, we will work with the administration' regarding the extension of assistance to Ukraine, which was approved by Congress last year.
In his comments, the congressman expressed confidence that key officials in the new government understand the necessity of supporting freedom and democracy. Joe Wilson noted that Marco Rubio, Mike Waltz, and Elise Stefanik are champions of these values and are part of Trump's team.
Furthermore, Joe Wilson gave a positive assessment of the Trump administration's efforts to resolve the conflict in eastern Ukraine and reduce violence. According to him, President Trump has done everything possible to achieve peace, however, it is important that this happens through honest negotiations.
