IAEA continues missions at substations for power output from NPPs
The International Atomic Energy Agency will extend its missions from October 21 to 27 at all key substations critical for power delivery from nuclear power plants.
This is reported by the Ministry of Energy.
"Russia continues to endanger nuclear safety and security at Ukrainian NPPs by conducting air attacks on Ukrainian territory. The last massive attack at the end of August showed that the enemy does not consider the threat of a nuclear incident while trying to cause a blackout in Ukraine. And we rely on the support of the international community in restoring the safe operation of our NPPs," emphasized Herman Halushchenko.
It is planned that the visits of IAEA experts to key NPP substations, during which they will assess the condition of the facilities and verify the consequences, will take place sequentially according to the schedule.
