The Ministry of Defense Modernizes Military Uniforms.

The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, together with manufacturers and suppliers of material support for the Armed Forces of Ukraine, is improving military uniforms to make them more comfortable and durable. This is reported by the Ministry of Defense.

At a meeting attended by representatives of Ukrainian businesses, the Central Office for Material Support Development, and the Procurement Agency of the Ministry of Defense 'State Operator of Logistics', discussions were held on the modernization of fabrics and materials for military uniforms and the use of new processing technologies that will make the products stronger and more durable.

Participants of the meeting also analyzed the effectiveness of new equipment samples in real combat conditions.

Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine Dmytro Klymenko emphasized the need to provide military personnel with modern, quality, and safe equipment that meets the requirements of modern armed conflicts.

«We must provide our defenders with the best materials and technologies that will enhance their combat readiness and comfort even in the most difficult conditions. Together with manufacturers, we will implement innovative solutions that meet modern requirements», - emphasized Dmytro Klymenko.

The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine stresses the importance of cooperation with Ukrainian businesses to implement innovations and ensure a high level of equipment for the military personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Earlier, the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine announced the start of military tests for new clothing samples for providing military personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This includes a camouflage suit (Type 2), a winter hat, and a special winter suit. The Ministry of Defense has developed technical descriptions for these items. The tests aim to evaluate new samples of military equipment and check their compliance with modern service conditions in the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The Ministry of Defense is also testing new samples of demi-season and winter uniforms for women. Field tests of demi-season uniforms are being conducted, and the first samples of winter uniforms are being prepared for scientific research testing.

In July 2023, an updated summer field women's clothing was presented, and in August, a sample-standard of the summer field suit for female military personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was approved.
