Kyiv region expects massive power outages: where there will be no electricity for 10-11 hours.

On Monday and Tuesday, October 21 and 22, 2024, there will be a power outage in various localities in the Kyiv region. This is related to the program for upgrading and strengthening the region's power grid, announced by the Kalynivka Village Council.

DTEK "Kyiv Regional Electric Networks" explain that these preventive measures are important to prevent possible accidents and ensure stable power supply in the future. The duration of outages will range from 10 to 11 hours in each locality, but may be extended due to unforeseen circumstances or the complexity of repair work.

Experts from DTEK "Kyiv Regional Electric Networks" emphasize the importance of these preventive measures. Although the outages may cause some inconvenience to residents, they are essential to prevent possible accidents and ensure a stable power supply in the future.

Representatives of the energy company advise residents to prepare for the temporary absence of electricity. To do this, they should charge mobile devices, have a supply of water and non-perishable food, and provide themselves with alternative sources of lighting.

1. Monday, October 21:
   • Dimej community: Katjuzhanka village (Verbova, Nova, and Poshtova streets) and Lyubymivka village (Myr street). Outage Time: 9:00-19:00.
2. Tuesday, October 22:
   • Kalynivka settlement of Fastiv district: Vasylkivska, Vynohradna, Zoriana, Zorianyi, Kadenyuka, Kalynova, Kvitkova, Kvitkovyi, Kyivska, Klenovyi, Lesi Ukrainky, Lysenko, Lisova, Promyslovyi, Sadova, Sonyashnyi, Sportyvna, Stusa, Sunychna, Teplychnyi, Tsentralna, Tsentralnyi, Yabluneva streets. Outage time: 8:30-19:30.
