On new cars and in expensive hotels, fleeing from the war: Poland spoke harshly about Ukrainians.

Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz, the Minister of Defense of Poland, expressed the dissatisfaction of the Polish population regarding young Ukrainian men who remained in Poland after fleeing from the war. The locals do not accept the idea that Ukrainians are driving new cars in Poland.
Tension between Ukraine and Poland arises from unresolved historical issues, disagreements over agricultural exports, and the distrust of Polish society towards Ukrainian refugees in Poland.
'Of course, there is fatigue in Polish society, and this is understandable, especially when people here see young Ukrainian men driving new cars or staying in five-star hotels.'
Warsaw also refused to supply Ukraine with MiG-29 aircraft, justifying this need for its own security. Minister Kosiniak-Kamysz reminded Ukraine that Poland provided assistance not only in humanitarian aspects but also in military fields.
Let us remember that Ukraine previously responded to Donald Tusk's statement regarding the exhumation of victims of the Volhynia tragedy.
