The most popular professions in Ukraine: what is the situation on the labor market.

According to the State Employment Center, professions that were previously considered male due to the shortage of workers caused by the military actions in the country have become popular on the labor market in Ukraine.
According to the unified job vacancy database, as of the end of 2024, there were over 224 thousand vacancies in the trade and services sector.
The most popular professions in this sector are salespeople, administrators, cooks, baristas, sales representatives, waiters, and security guards.
Skilled workers most often look for drivers, locksmiths, packers, seamstresses, electricians, and turners.
Among specialists and professionals, popular positions include accountants, engineers, doctors, pharmacists, and teachers, among others.
The greatest shortage of personnel is observed in the manufacturing industry, construction, and education.
Experts from the State Employment Center predict that professions with significant staff turnover and universal jobs, such as salesperson, waiter, barista, and loader, will remain popular in the future.
Despite the difficult conditions in the labor market, experts predict that the demand for these professions will remain stable in 2025.
