New vector of development: a boom of industrial parks in Ukraine.

The growth of industrial parks in Kyiv region and western regions of Ukraine
Deputy Minister of Economy Andriy Teliupa spoke about the increase in the number of industrial parks in the western regions of Ukraine and in Kyiv region. He emphasized that this indicates real growth in this area.
'Finally, we have industrial parks not just on paper, but they are actually being built. There is a great demand for them from both Ukrainian businesses and foreign investors. The state has started to provide financial support for the creation of necessary infrastructure,' he said in an interview with Interfax-Ukraine.
According to the deputy minister, the Ministry of Economy estimates that for every hryvnia of state support, there are 6-7 hryvnias of private investments.
Teliupa explained that the ministry only finances 15 parks, as it allocates funds only for those locations where construction and production are already taking place.
If demand increases, the Ministry of Economy may redistribute budget funds or attract additional sources of funding.
State support for industrial parks includes exemption from import VAT and customs duties on equipment if it has no Ukrainian analogues and is used exclusively on the territory of the park, as well as exemption from profit tax for 10 years in case of reinvestment of funds into the development of the enterprise.
The government plans to allocate 1 billion hryvnias for the construction and modernization of the infrastructure of industrial parks in 2024 and 2025.
Recently, 100 industrial parks have been added to the Register of Industrial (Industrial) Parks.
