Occupiers attacked Sumy: man lost wife, child and sister (updated).


Three people, including a 14-year-old child, died after a drone attack on a residential area in Sumy. This was reported by the Sumy Prosecutor's Office.
The attack occurred on October 22, 2024, at around 00:02, when the occupiers used methods of warfare prohibited by international law and attacked a residential area in the city of Sumy.
The weapon hit a private house, where a 50-year-old man was injured. But his 50-year-old wife, 62-year-old sister, and 14-year-old daughter were killed.
The Sumy Regional Prosecutor's Office has already started a pre-trial investigation into the violation of the laws and customs of war, as well as the commission of intentional murder (Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
It should be noted that the occupiers made 303 strikes on nine settlements in the Zaporizhia region. As a result, 77 reports of the destruction of residential buildings and infrastructure facilities were received. In addition, as a result of the attack on the regional center, three people died, and 19 were injured, including an eight-year-old girl.
It should be reminded that on the morning of October 21, a drone hit a five-story building in the settlement of Hlevakha, Fastiv district, Kyiv region, leading to the partial destruction of the roof of the building.
