Occupants once again shot Ukrainian prisoners of war.

The Commissioner of the Verkhovna Rada for Human Rights Dmytro Lubinets addressed the UN and the International Committee of the Red Cross regarding the shooting of Ukrainian prisoners of war by the Russians. He stated this on social media.
“Another cynical crime. Russian military channels publish videos of the alleged execution of Ukrainian servicemen who fell into the hands of the Russians. The video captures Russian soldiers being repeatedly ordered to shoot the prisoners of war. This underscores that executions are a deliberate policy of Russia,” Lubinets noted.
According to Lubinets, such actions by the Russian invaders violate international humanitarian law and the Geneva Convention on the treatment of prisoners of war.
Lubinets called on the UN and ICRC to put pressure on Russia and ensure that it faces consequences for its actions.
The Ombudsman also urged to immediately report any information about crimes against Ukrainian defenders to the hotline.
“Every testimony is important for establishing the truth. The provided information will contribute to documenting war crimes, ensuring legal responses, and holding those responsible accountable in accordance with the norms of international and national law,” Lubinets emphasized.
We remind that the occupants in Donetsk region shot six Ukrainian servicemen who were captured. An investigation into this incident has already been launched.
Captive Russian soldiers spoke about the unsatisfactory conditions of service in the RF army and the cruelty of the command, which mocks its subordinates.
