The UN approved two resolutions regarding the war in Ukraine: the USA voted against Ukraine's.

The UN General Assembly adopted two resolutions regarding the anniversary of the Russian invasion of Ukraine. The Ukrainian resolution condemning Russia's aggression was approved and supported by 93 countries. 18 states voted against it, including Russia, Belarus, and the USA.
After the vote, the EU delegation published the results on platform X (formerly known as Twitter).
Among those who voted against the Ukrainian resolution were Hungary, Israel, North Korea, the Central African Republic, Burkina Faso, Burundi, Equatorial Guinea, Eritrea, Haiti, Mali, Sudan, Niger, Nicaragua, Palau, and the Marshall Islands.
The Ukrainian resolution calls for Russia to 'immediately, completely and unconditionally withdraw its troops from the territory of Ukraine within its internationally recognized borders' and defines 'the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation into Ukraine.'
At the same Time, the UN General Assembly adopted the American resolution 'Path to Peace.' It was also supported by 93 countries, while eight voted against it, and 73 abstained, including Ukraine. This document does not contain a condemnation of aggression, but only expresses sorrow for 'tragic loss of life during the Russian-Ukrainian conflict' and calls for 'a swift end to the conflict and the establishment of lasting peace between Ukraine and Russia.'
The UN General Assembly also rejected the Russian amendment 'on the necessity of addressing the root causes of the Ukrainian crisis.' 71 states voted against it, while only 31 supported it.
It was previously reported that the USA pressured other countries, urging them not to support the Ukrainian resolution and to vote for the American one.
