Pension for women: who will not be able to retire at 60 years.

According to the pension reform, Ukrainians can retire at the age of 60, but they need to have sufficient insurance experience for this. If the experience is insufficient, they will have to work a few years longer. This is reported by the 'Hvylya' portal citing 'On Pension'.
The retirement age for women has been gradually increasing from 55 to 60 years since 2011. This process ended on April 1, 2021, when women born in 1961 were allowed to retire at the age of 60. From this date, both men and women can receive a pension.
However, simply reaching retirement age does not guarantee a pension. Since 2018, the requirements for insurance experience for receiving pension at the age of 60 in Ukraine have been increasing. By 2025, this experience must be at least 32 years, and by 2028 - 35 years. If a woman does not have enough experience, she must work until she accumulates the required number of years.
There are also alternative options for receiving a pension. If a woman has at least 22 years of insurance experience, she can receive a pension at the age of 63. With 15 years of experience, a pension can be received at the age of 65. If the needed experience is lacking for a few months or years, there is an option to buy additional insurance experience.
As of 2025, the cost of one month of such experience is 1760 hryvnias, and for one year - 21,120 hryvnias. However, experts indicate that this is only beneficial in case of minimal experience shortfall.
It is also worth mentioning that pensioners will have the opportunity to work in 2025 and receive bonuses to their payments.
