Pensioners will be able to receive 'Chornobyl' payments: who the Pension Fund will add almost 2500 hryvnias per month.

Pensioners in Ukraine will receive an additional 2361 hryvnia per month
According to draft law No. 12000, pensioners in Ukraine will be granted a monthly supplement of 2361 UAH. This applies to individuals affected by the Chornobyl disaster and living in resettlement zones.
However, according to the new draft state budget law for 2025, this supplement will not be available to all pensioners. It will be accessible only to those who are not employed but permanently reside in resettlement zones and have lived there from 1986 to 1993.
Pensioners who changed their place of residence after the Chernobyl disaster or moved to the zones after the catastrophe will not receive the supplement. If a pensioner who is eligible for the supplement moves outside the resettlement zone and registers elsewhere, the payment will be terminated.
The Pension Fund will regularly check data from various state registries to confirm eligibility for the supplement.
