The Pentagon commented on Trump's statement about $350 billion in aid to Ukraine.

The U.S. Department of Defense refuted President Donald Trump's recent statement regarding the volumes of American aid to Ukraine.
According to information provided by the Pentagon to the 'Voice of America' publication, since the start of the full-scale Russian invasion in February 2022, the total amount of support has reached around $183 billion, which is significantly less than Trump's claim of $350 billion.
The department reported that out of this amount, Ukraine received military assistance totaling $65.9 billion.
Additionally, another $3.9 billion approved by Congress for military support to Kyiv currently remains unused.
It should be noted that a significant portion of the funds - about $58 billion - was reinvested directly into the American economy. This money was directed towards the development of the U.S. defense industry in two ways: by replacing the old weapons transferred to Ukraine with new American-made ones and through direct investments in the industry.
Also, it is worth mentioning that Zelensky has not yet signed an agreement with the U.S. on minerals: CNN named the reason.
