The Pension Fund of Ukraine addressed Ukrainians regarding February payments: when to expect pensions and subsidies.

The Pension Fund of Ukraine in February provided timely financial support to the population by transferring funds through banks and Ukrposhta. As of February 21, 57.5 billion UAH was allocated for pension payments, of which 48.8 billion UAH was transferred through banks, and 8.7 billion UAH - through the joint-stock company 'Ukrposhta'.
Additionally, the Pension Fund financed housing subsidy and benefits payments amounting to 4919.9 million UAH, and also directed 2500.5 million UAH for insurance payments, including 1345.5 million UAH for sick leave.
Furthermore, during the reporting period, the Pension Fund of Ukraine provided 871.6 thousand services to citizens who applied to it.
It should be noted that pension amounts depend on the work experience and the amount of contributions. Adding years of official work to the overall experience and the increase in official salaries contributes to accumulating a larger pension.
Let us also note that the average pension in Ukraine as of October 1, 2024, is 5,852 UAH, however, its amount varies significantly depending on the region.
It was also reported that pension indexation is planned for March 2025, when the Pension Fund of Ukraine will establish a new percentage increase in payments.
