Polish carriers announced a protest at the border with Ukraine.

Polish carriers protest at the border
Polish carriers organized a protest action near the 'Dorohusk' border crossing on the Ukrainian border due to dissatisfaction with working conditions and income. They claim that their Ukrainian counterparts are artificially lowering transport rates, pushing them out of the market.
'The authorities ignore our appeals, so we are forced to act independently. The goal is to restore balance in the freight transport sector, disrupted by the cancellation of permits for Ukrainian companies', the statement said.
The specific start date of the protest has not yet been determined.
Protests of Polish farmers at the border with Ukraine
Since February 9, 2024, protests by Polish agrarians have begun at the Ukrainian border in Poland. Farmers blocked roads for trucks, protesting against excessive imports of Ukrainian products to the internal market.
In November of the same year, Polish farmers even threatened to block the entire border with Ukraine. Additionally, due to the system for detecting unscrupulous grain exporters, the registration of over 300 tax invoices worth about 2 billion UAH was halted.
During these protests, it is important to ensure dialogue between the parties and seek constructive solutions that satisfy both carriers and farmers. Only in this way can further conflicts be avoided and a compromise found in this difficult situation.
