License deprivation for 7 years: what drivers can now be punished for.

Ukrainian automotive blogger Oleksandr Metalidi published a video on his YouTube channel "Autoproject Kharkiv", where he talks about important changes in legislation regarding penalties for driving without a license. He highlights the significant increase in fines and possible consequences for violators.
According to the blogger, the fine for driving without a license used to be minimal and amounted to 510 hryvnias, which drivers did not like. Therefore, even if they were caught for violations, they would pay up calmly and not refrain from further driving.
However, the situation in the country has changed. Now the fine for driving without a license reaches 20,400 hryvnias if the driver is caught for the first Time. In the case of repeated violations, the fine may reach 40,800 hryvnias, and there may also be a threat of license deprivation for up to seven years by court decision.
Metalidi emphasizes the importance of following traffic rules and particularly warns drivers about the undesirability of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs. He urges all drivers to adhere to the rules to avoid fines and license deprivation.
