The Russian Federation Approaches the Loss of All Submarines in the Black Sea – Defense Express.

The successful strike on the Russian Black Sea Fleet submarine "Rostov-on-Don" in Sevastopol casts doubt on the occupiers' ability to repair their submarines in the Black Sea. This was reported by analysts at Defense Express.
In addition to the fully sunken "Rostov-on-Don", the Russian Federation holds three more submarines of the same "Varshavyanka" project in the Black Sea: B-265 "Krasnodar", B-268 "Veliky Novgorod", and B-271 "Kolpino", as well as the "Paltus" project - B-871 "Alrosa".
The main repair plant for submarines in the Black Sea for the Russian Federation is the Sevastopol Marine Plant. According to the publication, for full repairs, they need to be driven under attack in occupied Sevastopol.
The Russian Federation does not have the practical ability to send submarines for scheduled repairs at the Kronstadt Marine Plant in the Baltic, as the Bosporus is closed to military vessels by Turkey. Meanwhile, the chance of fleeing through the "backdoor" - the Sea of Azov and the Don - is highly doubtful.
The only possible alternative is the ship repair plant in Novorossiysk, but it has never dealt with submarines. At the same Time, the operation of all three "Varshavyankas" is extremely active, so their need for repairs exceeds peacetime norms.
"Of course, this does not mean that all Russian submarines will dock tomorrow. Moreover, the lack of regulatory repair work is unlikely to force the command of the remnants of the Russian Black Sea Fleet to change anything. But the disabling of four Russian submarines is only a matter of time," analysts noted.
It is noted that without repairs, Russian submarines, at the very least, will not be able to go to sea, and at most, will suffer underwater accidents.
Recall that on August 3, the Defense Forces of Ukraine struck the "Rostov-on-Don" submarine and the enemy's S-400 anti-aircraft missile system in temporarily occupied Crimea. As a result of the hit, the submarine sank on the spot.
As reported, Russian occupiers stubbornly use temporarily occupied Crimea to repair their ships and submarines, despite the fact that the Defense Forces of Ukraine have repeatedly struck enemy vessels.
As is known, not a single ship that the Ukrainian side claims was damaged or destroyed in the past year appeared in the parade to mark the day of the Russian Navy.
Incidentally, Putin acknowledged that the Armed Forces of Ukraine successfully strike at the ships of the Russian Black Sea Fleet. At a meeting on the development of the Russian Navy, the dictator announced the need to protect the Russian fleet from "possible attacks on the approaches to naval bases and areas."
