A year ago, the RF attacked a building in Kyiv — what it looks like now.


Exactly one year ago, on July 8, 2024, Russian occupiers massively attacked the capital. As a result of the hostile shelling, a building on Salsky Street in Kyiv was destroyed.
A correspondent from Novyny.LIVE visited the site of the strike on Tuesday, July 8.

We remind you that as a result of the Russian strike on July 8, 2024, a building on Volodymyr Salsky Street, 19 in the Shevchenkivskyi district of Kyiv was destroyed. Two entrances were completely destroyed, and at least 15 apartments in the neighboring entrances were damaged, leading to the death of 14 people.
The KMDA reported that the damaged building would be restored at the expense of the city budget.
A year has passed since the RF strike on the building on Salsky Street, and today the Novyny.LIVE correspondent visited the site of the tragedy to find out and show what condition the multi-story building is in now.
Thus, currently, the residents' housing has still not been restored, but the process is ongoing.
A memorial for those who died as a result of the Russian missile attack was set up near the building.

Recently, Health Minister Viktor Lyashko stated that the official restoration of the 'Okhmatdyt' hospital has begun.
As a result of the massive attack by Russian occupiers in Kyiv a year ago, many people were affected, but the process of restoring damaged buildings has already begun, including the children's hospital 'Okhmatdyt'. The housing of people who suffered from this terrible event has not yet been fully restored, but a memorial has been established at the site of the tragedy to honor the memory of the deceased.
