In the evening of April 22, the city of Odesa suffered from drone attacks by Russia, resulting in a significant fire. This was reported citing local Telegram channels. The mayor of Odesa, Hennadiy Trukhanov, confirmed that the city was attacked by drones, and explosions were heard. According to local Telegram channels, a large fire broke out in the city after the arrival of the drones. It is currently unknown if there were any casualties from the Russian attack.It is recalled that on Monday, April 21, Russia attacked Odesa, causing damage and significant destruction to civilian infrastructure, residential buildings, schools, vehicles, and provoking fires. According to the head of the Odesa Regional Military-Civil Administration, Oleg Kiper, three people were injured as a result of the Russian attack, and they are receiving medical assistance.The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, reacted to the new Russian attacks on Ukrainian cities. He expressed condolences to the relatives and loved ones of the victims, emphasizing that this is a deliberate Russian terror that can be stopped by an order from Russia for the Russian army. Zelensky also mentioned that Ukraine proposed to extend the truce after Easter and cease fire against civilian objects, but Russia must be ready to seriously discuss this issue. He also noted that there were attacks on Kharkiv region, Sumy region, Donetsk region, and southern regions.
