Movement on the road Odesa-Reni will be suspended
The State Border Guard Service of Ukraine informs that the movement of vehicles will be suspended on the transit section of the Odesa-Reni highway.
According to Moldovan colleagues, from 01:00 to 04:00 on November 12, 2024, work will be carried out on this section to install equipment for monitoring the movement of vehicles.
Therefore, the movement of passenger and cargo vehicles through the Mayaki and Udobne checkpoints will be temporarily suspended
Considering this information, Ukrainians were urged to plan their trips taking into account the restrictions.
Changes in speed limit and traffic rules
We remind you that from November 1, 2024, new rules on speed limit on roads have come into effect in all cities of Ukraine. The maximum permitted speed is 50 km/h. During this period, the 'winter period' norms are applied, when the level of danger for all road users increases.
New provisions of the Rules of the Road have also entered into force. After May 1, the low beam headlights remain mandatory outside the city. These changes were made by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine by Resolution No. 1105 of October 20, 2023.
Automatic detection of traffic violations
Four years after the introduction of automatic detection of traffic violations (PDAs) in Ukraine, the police issued over 10 million fines. 89% of them were executed and fines totaling over UAH 2.1 billion were paid.
