NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte believes that Ukraine will become a NATO member in the future.
He made this statement during a meeting of NATO defense ministers in Brussels.
At the moment, it looks like Ukraine will be the 33rd member. But, perhaps someone else will come before them. But Ukraine will be a member of NATO in the future. This is what we decided in Washington. So the question now is about the timing.
According to Rutte, the Alliance states are making every effort to make Ukraine a member of NATO.
So if there is a specific question of "When?", I cannot provide an answer to it right now, at the moment. But we are working on all these areas to actually have them become a NATO member one day.
It is noteworthy that Rutte also visited key NATO sites related to Ukraine.
