Scholz plans to talk to Putin, but there is a condition.

Olaf Scholz plans to talk to Putin
German Chancellor Olaf Scholz plans to have a phone conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin, as reported by the German publication Tagesschau.
"Yes, I plan to talk to the Russian president at the appropriate Time," Scholz said in his interview with the ARD channel.
The Chancellor emphasized that he will not have this conversation alone, but will consult with many partners, including Ukraine. "I cannot do this on my own," Scholz said.
According to the media, US President-elect Donald Trump has already had a phone conversation with Putin. According to The Washington Post, Trump warned Putin about increasing US forces in Europe and called for a resolution to the conflict in Ukraine.
However, the Kremlin denies the fact of this conversation. "This is absolutely untrue," said Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov.
Earlier, Trump said he could find a solution to end the war in Ukraine "within 24 hours," but did not present a specific plan. He also expressed his disagreement with further financial support for Ukraine from the US.
Thus, both Scholz and Trump are aiming to engage in dialogue with Russia to resolve the conflict in Ukraine, but their approaches and plans are not yet defined.
