It became known how many Ukrainians are in the registry of missing persons.

Over 70 thousand people are missing in Ukraine
According to the Unified Register of Persons Missing Under Special Circumstances, more than 70 thousand people are currently being sought in Ukraine. This was stated by the Commissioner for Missing Persons Under Special Circumstances, Artur Dobroserdov, in an interview with Ukrinform.
In particular, among them are about 2,740 children.
These individuals include military personnel, civilians, citizens of other countries, and stateless persons who were legally in Ukraine.
It is noted that these numbers are constantly growing. In the last two weeks, about 63 thousand people have gone missing.
The Unified Register of Persons Missing Under Special Circumstances is formed from information received from the police. A person must be declared missing for which a corresponding application must be submitted to the National Police.
The Commissioner also emphasized that sometimes scammers approach the families of missing persons and exploit their vulnerability by promising to provide information about the missing.
From February 2022 to November 2024, 12,162 civilians were killed in Ukraine and 26,919 were injured.
