Biden prepares to declassify information on RT's involvement in Russian intelligence operations, - CNN.

The administration of US President Joe Biden plans to release declassified US intelligence data indicating close cooperation between the media RT and Russian intelligence around the world.
This was reported by CNN.
According to new intelligence data, the Russian government has included an intelligence collection unit within RT for over a year now, focused on various operational actions in different countries. This activity goes beyond regular propaganda and includes even military procurement.
Meanwhile, the US State Department is planning a diplomatic campaign to inform other countries about the risks associated with the activities of this propaganda resource.
The goal of the United States is to convey to countries that RT and Russian intelligence services work together to sow discord and harm democratic processes.
US diplomats hope to form an international coalition to counter RT's influence, particularly during the upcoming session of the UN General Assembly. It is worth noting that RT operates television and online platforms globally, promoting Kremlin narratives.
In the US, it is believed that RT propaganda and disinformation have played a key role in shaping pro-Russian sentiment regarding Russia's war against Ukraine in many countries. Although RT is banned in the European Union and is almost not broadcast in the US, its influence is expanding in Latin American and African countries.
Let's recall that a large-scale operation of Russia Today was previously exposed in the USA.
