Kyivvodokanal explained whether power outages would affect water supply.


«Kyivvodokanal» denied the information about the introduction of a water outage schedule in the capital.
This was reported by the press service of the Kyiv City State Administration.
According to JSC «AK «Kyivvodokanal», water supply and sewage services are provided to Kyiv residents around the clock and in full. The only exceptions may be emergency situations on the pipelines.
The company notes that it has not published any information about the introduction of schedules on its official website. The Kyiv City State Administration urges Kyiv residents not to trust fakes and to rely only on official sources of information.
The Deputy General Director of «Kyivvodokanal» confirmed that no changes in water supply in the capital are expected. The enterprise is equipped with everything necessary for uninterrupted service provision.
Regarding possible problems due to power outages, the official noted that the main pumping stations are not disconnected from the power supply. In case of unforeseen situations, the water utility has generators and other backup equipment.
«Kyivvodokanal» has also developed action plans for various scenarios that may arise during the war, emphasized the Deputy General Director of the enterprise.
