In May, Russia used chemical weapons against the Armed Forces of Ukraine 888 times.

According to the General Staff, Russian troops are still using chemical weapons against the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons has confirmed the use of dangerous substances on the battlefield. This is the third report confirming Russia's violations of the Chemical Weapons Convention. The document records 888 cases of the use of chemical agents against Ukrainian soldiers in May of this year. Among other confirmed facts of chemical weapons use is an illegal method - a liquid that causes tearing, as well as similar substances in grenades.
In addition to chemical attacks, Russian occupiers continue to carry out missile attacks on civilian objects in Ukraine. The latest case was an attack on the city of Samara in the Dnipropetrovsk region, resulting in the deaths of five civilians and 23 others injured. This event once again highlights the brutality and mercilessness of the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
In light of the reported situation, Russian troops are committing a series of chemical and missile attacks on Ukrainian soldiers and civilians. This confirms the extremely dangerous state of the conflict in the region and requires immediate international measures to diversify it and prevent further suffering of the civilian population.
