Ukraine and the USA have agreed on a list of energy facilities that Russia must stop attacking
The Ministry of Energy of Ukraine reported that Washington agreed with Kyiv's position regarding the 'energy truce' and approved a list of facilities that need protection. This list differs from the one proposed by Russia.
'Ukraine has communicated and agreed with the American side on the typology of facilities across all sectors of energy infrastructure within the framework of the agreement to stop mutual strikes. This includes the electric energy, oil and gas complexes, nuclear and coal industries, and energy machine engineering – the production of energy equipment,' the Ministry of Energy stated.
The Russian side published its list of facilities, claiming it was coordinated with the USA. The American side has not yet denied this information. However, the list from Russia does not include Ukrainian oil and gas extraction facilities, which have recently been subjected to the heaviest attacks.
Earlier, the head of the Ministry of Energy, Volodymyr Voldz, stated about significant destruction by Russian infrastructure in Ukraine.
