Ukraine announced scaling up the production of strike drones that can fly over 1,000 km. This was stated by military analyst Dmytro Sniehiriov.
According to him, Ukraine continues to carry out strikes on the rear facilities of the Russian defense industry.
"First of all, we are talking about the number of Ukrainian UAVs that simultaneously struck six objects of the Russian Federation. According to data from the Russian Ministry of Defense, about 120 strikes were inflicted. But the real number may be much higher. Therefore, we are talking about increasing the production of strike drones with a range of more than 1,000 km," Sniehiriov said.
He also recalled that drones hit a facility in the Nizhny Novgorod region of the Russian Federation, which belongs to the Russian military-industrial complex.
"The distance from the targets to the Russian-Ukrainian border is more than 900 km. Thus, we can talk about 'Ukroboronprom' expanding the production of strike drones with a range of more than 1,000 km. Ukraine continues to carry out intensive strikes on the rear infrastructure of the Russian defense industry and military facilities on the territory of the Russian Federation, which are targets of the Ukrainian side," the analyst noted.
Sniehiriov emphasized that the Russians recently acknowledged the effectiveness of a drone strike by the Main Intelligence Directorate on a key plant of the Russian defense industry, which produces microelectronics components for Iskander missiles and Pantsir-S1 air defense systems.
"This is the Bryansk plant, which has currently ceased production. The Russian side recognized serious damage to the production workshops and the impossibility of continuing production for the needs of the Russian defense industry. This plant was the target of strikes by the UAVs of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense. Incidents occurred repeatedly. This proves that Ukrainian actions were planned and consistent," Sniehiriov believes.
