Ukrainians will have their pensions recalculated from April 1: who will receive increased payments.

Starting from April 1, pensions will be recalculated for Ukrainians who continued to work after the appointment of their pension or previous recalculation. This was reported by the press service of the Main Department of the Pension Fund of Ukraine in the Kyiv region. This is done based on Article 42 of the Law of Ukraine 'On Mandatory State Pension Insurance'.
The recalculation of pensions will be carried out automatically, and pensioners do not need to personally apply to the offices of the Pension Fund of Ukraine. The indexation will be conducted for individuals who continued to work after the appointment/previous recalculation of their pension and had the appropriate insurance experience. Individuals who worked for less than two years after the appointment/previous recalculation of their pension will also be eligible for indexation if their experience exceeds 24 months.
The recalculation of pensions will apply to pensioners whose pensions were appointed or recalculated in 2023. The insurance experience as of March 1, 2025, will be taken into account. However, this recalculation does not apply to pensioners who receive pensions for long service or have not yet reached the age of 60.
