Ukraine to be hit by frost: forecaster explains where it will be the coldest.


Frosts of up to 3 degrees are forecasted
Forecaster Natalia Didenko reported a significant cooldown expected on Wednesday, October 16. At night, the temperature may drop to 3 degrees.
Autumn in Ukraine continues to surprise with sharp temperature changes. For a long Time, the residents of the country enjoyed warmth, but recently cool temperatures and rains have begun. And now the weather is preparing a new surprise.
In the western regions of Ukraine, frosts of 0-3 degrees are forecasted at night, but during the day it will be slightly warmer - +9+12 degrees. In Transcarpathia, the temperature will rise to +16 degrees. No precipitation is expected, sunny weather is expected.
The central regions will also experience rain and moisture. At night +8+11 degrees is expected, and during the day the temperature will rise to +9+13 degrees. In the eastern regions, rain is also expected, but slightly warmer - +11+14 degrees.
The southern part of the country will also receive rains, sometimes strong. The air temperature will fluctuate from +11 to +16 degrees.
Overcast weather with rain is expected in Kyiv on Wednesday. At night it will be cold - +3, +4 degrees, and during the day the temperature will rise to +10 degrees.
Residents of houses where heating hasn't been turned on yet are advised to take care of additional insulation due to the approaching frosts. It is expected that the frosts will start in the western regions of the country with clear skies the coming night. In other parts of Ukraine, significant cloudiness will keep temperatures from plunging. But starting from October 17, the cooling trend will spread to other regions.
On October 17, 18, 19, and 20, with the increase in clear spots (anticyclone), the likelihood of frosts will spread over much of Ukraine's territory. Stay warm!
