Ukrenergo cancels electricity outages for the population on December 18, but not for everyone.

The National Energy Company 'Ukrenergo' reports that from December 18, there will be no consumption restrictions for household consumers. However, for industry and business, power restriction schedules will be in effect from 07:00 to 20:00.
Early in the morning on December 17, due to bad weather, 397 settlements in 16 regions of Ukraine were left without electricity supply. The most affected was the Khmelnytsky region. The power companies are working to restore electricity supply, which is expected to be completed by the end of the day.
According to the company, electricity consumption on December 17 at 6:00 was 2% lower than the previous day due to rising air temperatures. The daily consumption maximum on December 16 exceeded Friday's figures by 5.5% due to reduced restrictions.
Ukrenergo emphasizes that the Ukrainian energy system is still recovering from twelve massive attacks that occurred since the beginning of the year and has a significant power deficit. The company urges consumers to use electricity sparingly from 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM and to refrain from simultaneously turning on several powerful electrical appliances.
During the day, it is planned to import electricity from Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Hungary, and Moldova with a total volume of 20,903 MWh and a maximum capacity of up to 1,151 MW during certain hours.
