In Ukraine, the procedure for payments to families of deceased and injured military personnel has been changed.

The government simplifies the procedure for obtaining assistance for military families
The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has made changes to the process of paying one-Time financial assistance to families of deceased and injured military personnel in order to simplify the procedure and facilitate access to services starting from September 24, 2024. This was announced by government representative Taras Melnichuk.
The innovations provide the possibility of submitting the necessary documents through the Centers for the Provision of Administrative Services (TsNAP) or online services. The application can be submitted through the Diia portal or the Unified Registry of Veterans, if there is technical capability and an active electronic cabinet.
The key change is that from now on, payments will be assigned by the Ministry of Veterans Affairs of Ukraine to speed up the process and centralize the review of applications. The money will be transferred directly to the recipient's bank account, ensuring speed and transparency of payments.
Taras Melnichuk emphasized that these changes are part of the government's strategy to improve the social protection of military personnel and their families. The government also continues to work on enhancing the provision of various types of assistance, including psychological support for war veterans and their families.
