Payments for Internally Displaced Persons: Who the Pension Fund of Ukraine will continue to assist automatically.

Pensions for Internally Displaced Persons: How to Receive Compensation?
The Pension Fund of Ukraine will start accepting new applications for the appointment of compensation for the costs of free accommodation for internally displaced persons starting in 2025. This initiative corresponds to the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine. Pension Fund employees are ready to answer the most common questions from citizens regarding this compensation within the framework of the 'Shelter' program.
Persons who are outside Ukraine have the opportunity to apply online for the appointment of compensation for the costs of free accommodation for internally displaced persons. The Pension Fund of Ukraine has launched a new electronic service that allows submitting notifications and applications.
Compensation for free accommodation is paid for six months and is automatically extended for another six months after verification by the Pension Fund of Ukraine. Homeowners receiving compensation do not need to reapply if their status remains unchanged.
Information about the appointment of compensation is communicated by the Pension Fund of Ukraine through the personal account on the electronic services web portal. During the state of war, alternative notification is possible: Pension Fund employees may call with the appropriate entry in the log.
Thanks to the new system, the procedure for receiving compensation for free accommodation for internally displaced persons has become more accessible and convenient for citizens.
