Trials for Europe: how to rid itself of military dependence on the USA.

Europe calls for a rethinking of its defense strategy
Europe has a necessity to reassess its defense strategy after many years of dependence on support from the USA in the military sphere. US Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth emphasized this necessity, which provoked a sharp reaction from European leaders.
European countries must focus on several areas to achieve their defense self-sufficiency. They need to develop an integrated air defense system, enhance transportation infrastructure, and possess their own arsenal of nuclear weapons. These steps are critical for ensuring the military autonomy of Europe.
Recent statements by Pete Hegseth regarding the possible temporary absence of American troops have caused a wave of concern throughout Europe. There is particular worry about the operation to withdraw troops located in Eastern Europe, which were deployed after the Russian invasion of Ukraine. Currently, European armed forces have limited potential and are unfit for operational deployment.
