Admission Campaign 2025: Universities Have Set New Tuition Fees

The previous admission campaign has ended, and it's Time for new developments – 2025 promises many interesting changes. One of the most significant has been the substantial increase in the cost of contract education. New prices in leading universities of the country have caught applicants by surprise.

At Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, the cost of a four-year bachelor's program for future managers has reached 312.8 thousand hryvnias, which is 45% higher than last year. And at KNU, where 'Law' was studied for 264 thousand hryvnias, this year it will cost 306.4 thousand – an increase of 16%.

In turn, at Lviv Polytechnic, the cost of education has increased most radically – by 78.6%. As a result, four years of study here will cost a student 227.2 thousand hryvnias. Other universities have also not remained aloof from this trend.

Grants for Compensation

Budget students are offered grants to compensate for the new rates, but will there be enough for everyone? We will have to wait for developments, as the admission campaign has just begun and already has something to remember.

Contract education in Ukrainian universities has become significantly more expensive in the new academic year. The cost of education has increased by 16-78%, depending on the specific institution. At the same time, budget students are offered grants to compensate for these increased expenses. However, whether there will be enough of these grants for all students remains a question.
