On the eve of Sunday, May 11, 2025, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine updated information on the losses of the Russian occupiers.
Russia's losses in the war as of May 11, 2025
According to the Staff, the Russian Federation has suffered the following losses in the war against Ukraine on May 11:
- Personnel ‒ over 965,000 (+1310) persons,
- Tanks ‒ 10,792 (+2) units,
- Combat-ready armored vehicles ‒ 22,446 (+6) units,
- Artillery systems ‒ 27,670 (+33) units,
- SRBM ‒ 1381 (+1) units,
- Air defense systems ‒ 1159 (+1) units,
- Aircraft ‒ 372 (+0) units,
- Helicopters ‒ 335 (+0) units,
- Ground-based UAVs ‒ 35,537 (+55) units,
- Joint missiles ‒ 3197 (+0) units,
- Ships / Boats ‒ 28 (+0) units,
- Submarines ‒ 1 (+0) unit,
- Vehicles and tank trucks ‒ 47,947 (+117) units,
- Special machines ‒ 3878 (+3)
Occupying fleet activity as of May 11
- No enemy ships are present in the Black Sea;
- No enemy ships are present in the Sea of Azov;
- In the Mediterranean Sea, there are 3 enemy ships, one of which is a carrier ship for the guided missiles "Kalibr" with a total of up to 8 missiles.
In the last 24 hours in the territory of the RF through the Kerch Strait:
- In the Black Sea ‒ 0 ships, of which 0 sailed towards the Bosporus;
- In the Sea of Azov ‒ 5 ships, of which 4 were moving towards the Bosporus.
Currently, the 1173rd day of the full-scale war in Ukraine is underway.
Analyzing the available data, it is obvious that the conflict between Ukraine and Russia continues and inflicts great damage on both sides. The enormous losses in material and human resources testify to the significant effort being invested in this war.
