From May 1, a new application for the subsidy will need to be submitted: who is affected.

The Ukrainian state provides housing subsidies to citizens who cannot independently pay for utility services. The granting of the subsidy is carried out taking into account the financial and material condition of the family. This was reported by the Pension Fund of Ukraine.
Housing subsidies for payment of utility services and management of apartment buildings are granted until the end of the heating season. The heating period is divided into the non-heating season (from May 1 to September 30) and the heating season (from October 1 to April 30). The subsidy for October and April is calculated taking into account the actual heating period - from October 16 to April 15.
'The April subsidy to be paid in May is calculated for all services provided to the family, including 15 days of heating,' - explains the relevant authorities.
Starting from May 1, the Pension Fund of Ukraine will determine citizens' rights to receive housing subsidies for a new period lasting until April 30, 2026. For most subsidy recipients, payments will be automatically assigned based on information from the Pension Fund database, provided that the family's financial situation has not changed and there are no debts for utility services.
However, some citizens must submit a new application and income and expenditure declaration or a simplified application to receive a subsidy for the new period. This applies to families with internally displaced persons or members living in rented housing.
Applications must also be submitted by families whose actual number of residents is lower than the registered number, as well as those who are entitled to a subsidy for the purchase of liquefied gas, solid and liquid fuel for stoves.
It is worth noting that Ukrainians may lose their right to subsidies and benefits due to one document - the 'universal application'.
