A bail of 120 million hryvnias was posted for Deputy Prime Minister Chernyshov.


The High Anti-Corruption Court received from the Deputy Prime Minister for National Unity Oleksiy Chernyshov the full amount of the bail in the amount of 120 million hryvnias. Chernyshov is suspected of abuse of power and receiving illegal benefits on a particularly large scale. The decision to post bail was confirmed by the spokesperson of the High Anti-Corruption Court, Olesya Chemeris.

The spokesperson of the High Anti-Corruption Court Olesya Chemeris confirmed the fact of full bail posting. 'The bail was posted in full amount specified in the ruling of the investigating judge,' she noted in a comment to 'Ukrainian Pravda.'
The court imposed a number of restrictive measures on Chernyshov, including obliging him to appear at the request of detectives, prosecutors, and the court, notify about changing the place of residence or work, not leave the territory of Ukraine, and also forbade contacting other suspects and witnesses. The motion to suspend him from performing official duties was rejected.
The total amount of bail is 120 million 2 thousand 668 hryvnias. The High Anti-Corruption Court successfully received the known amount and established restrictions for the accused, which will help ensure order in the criminal proceeding.
