Zelensky signed a law for Ukraine's integration into the EU roaming space.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has signed a law that accelerates the implementation of unified roaming between Ukraine and the EU. According to Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov, this means that Ukrainians will be able to use their mobile connectivity in European Union countries without additional roaming charges. For this, a positive decision from the European Commission regarding participation in the 'Roam like at Home' policy is required.
- to benefit from a unified price for mobile communication in Ukraine and the EU;
- to avoid additional charges for calls and internet in 27 EU countries;
- to enjoy uninterrupted connectivity without roaming restrictions;
«The signing of this law brings Ukraine closer to the Single Digital Market of the European Union and increases the chances of joining the RLAH policy. This law will also facilitate cooperation between Ukrainian and European companies and strengthen the role of the regulator (NCEC) in protecting consumer rights and ensuring quality communication,» said Fedorov.
Ukraine is approaching the Roam like at Home initiative
Earlier, the Verkhovna Rada adopted a law that supports Ukraine's approach towards negotiations with the European Union regarding the inclusion of the country in the Roam like at Home (RLAH) initiative. According to the Ministry of Digital Transformation, Ukrainians will be able to use their operator's tariffs without paying additional fees for mobile communication and internet in 27 EU countries, even after the end of martial law.
According to various European standards, Ukraine actively supports its integration with the EU, which will facilitate communication with European Union countries.
The signing of the law on unified roaming brings Ukraine closer to European standards and facilitates communication and cooperation with EU countries, which is an important step towards integration and compatibility with European markets.Read also
